Our Story
We've been making chocolates in Paisley since 2004 — and every single one has been made by hand.
Chocolatbox started with a simple belief: that chocolate should be something to savour, not just scoff. Something made carefully, with quality ingredients and real attention. Not by a factory, but by people who care what goes into it.
Our workshop is in Paisley, just outside Glasgow. That's where we melt, temper, fill, and finish every chocolate we sell. Small batches, every time. It's slower than scaling up with machinery, but it's the only way to get the texture, the taste, and the consistency we'd be happy putting our name on.
At the heart of everything we make is Barry Callebaut Belgian chocolate — one of the finest couvertures in the world. We pair it with Scottish cream and locally sourced fruits for our Scottish Favourites range, and with carefully chosen ingredients from around the world for everything else: wild ginger, Cointreau, rose fondant, pistachio cream, Biscoff, Baileys. Flavours that feel both familiar and a little unexpected.
Over twenty years, we've grown into a brand that ships across the UK — gift boxes tucked into birthday parcels, wedding favours wrapped in ribbon, Christmas treats winging their way north and south. But the workshop in Paisley is still where it all begins. Still the same hands-on process. Still made to be gifted.
We're proud to be Scottish, proud to be handmade, and proud to be part of the moments people celebrate with chocolate.
Thank you for choosing Chocolatbox.
